About Jessica
Jessica Ilayalith Mora is a University of Chicago alumna with a B.A. in Public Policy and professional experience in health research, marketing and finance. It was at UChicago where she became heavily involved in the first-generation low-income student community through leadership and mentorship roles. Jessica advocates for educational equality through her position on the Alumni Council of High Jump Chicago and on the Latin School of Chicago Alumni Board of Directors. When she is not writing or journaling, Jess loves to perform theater and is actively involved in the circus: engaging in silks, acrobatics, salsa dancing, and juggling
